How to choose a submersible pump?
When choosing a deep well pump, the depth of the well should be taken into account first, along with the required head and flow rate. A key point to note is that the head of the pump you select must be no less than the sum of the well depth and the required head height; at the same time, the pump’s flow rate should match your actual water demand.
Beyond these factors, it’s also important to consider elements like the well’s diameter and water quality conditions. Doing so will help ensure that the pump can be installed without issues and operate steadily over an extended period.

What is deep well pump?
Deep well pumps, with deep well submersible pumps as a key type, refer to water-lifting equipment where the motor and the pump are directly integrated into a single unit—this integrated structure operates while fully submerged in water.
This kind of equipment boasts a range of notable advantages: it features a straightforward structure, delivers high operational efficiency, produces low noise levels, ensures safe and reliable performance during operation, and allows for easy installation and maintenance.
When the pump is not used for a long time .Do you need to start regularly?
The pump is stationary for a long time.May cause seal adhesion or bearing corrosion. It is recommended to run for a short time every month to maintain the status.
What are the contraindications to the use of submersible pumps?
(1)Not grounded
It is a national mandatory standard for 3-inch submersible pumps to adopt protective grounding, which is a necessary measure to ensure personal safety during use. If there is no protective grounding, once the pump casing leaks electricity, the water at the outlet of the submersible pump and the surface of the pumped water will be charged, which not only endangers the safety of humans and animals, but also causes a lot of electricity waste.
(2)No leakage protector
Submersible pumps in water may leak, causing power waste or electric shock. A leakage protector (tripping at ≤30mA) cuts power instantly when leakage occurs.
(3)Motor reverse rotation
Most submersible pumps pump water in both directions, but reverse rotation leads to low output, high current, and long-term damage to windings. Check rotation before submerging. For 3-phase pumps, swap any two core wires to correct reverse rotation.
(4)Long-term immersion after use
Unused pumps left in water corrode, failing to start. Run weekly for 5-10 mins. For long storage: clean in water, dry, overhaul (replace parts, derust), paint, and store in a dry, non-corrosive warehouse.
What are the precautions for the pump?
(1)No Operation with Faults: Do not continue to operate if there is any minor fault. The packing of the water pump shaft must be replenished in time when worn; otherwise, air leakage will occur, leading to increased power consumption of the motor and damage to the impeller.
(2)Check for Strong Vibration: If the pump vibrates strongly during use, it must be stopped to check the cause to prevent damage to the pump body.
(3)Bottom Valve Handling: When the bottom valve leaks, it is strictly forbidden to fill the water inlet pipe with dry soil and then flush it with water. This is to avoid dry soil entering the pump and damaging the impeller and bearings, as well as shortening the service life. The bottom valve should be repaired in time, and replaced with a new one if the damage is severe.
(4)Post-Use Maintenance: After use, the water in the pump must be drained. It is better to remove the water pipe and rinse it with clean water.
(5)Belt Maintenance: The belt needs to be removed, rinsed with water, and dried in the sun. It should not be placed in a dark and humid place, and the belt must not be stained with oil or sticky substances.
(6)Impeller Inspection: Carefully check whether the impeller has cracks and whether it is loose on the bearing. If there are any problems, timely repairs are required; if there is dirt on the impeller, it must be cleaned.
